Helltown Players is delighted to introduce the full cast and Cape Cod run of Bark Park, a comedy written and directed by Jim Dalglish, told from two perspectives that both unfold near Strawberry Fields in New York's Central Park.
One Play, Multiple Venues
Bark Park plays four venues across the Cape this summer and fall: Cotuit Center for the Arts (Aug 13–30), Academy Playhouse (Sep 3–6), and two Provincetown venues — St. Mary of the Harbor (Sep 15–16) and The Art House (Sep 21–23). Here's what makes Bark Park special: our four actors rotate through the roles across the run. The pairings shift, the casting shifts — and the same lines land differently depending on who's saying them, and to whom. The words never change, but the chemistry does.
See it once and you've seen a wonderful comedy. See it twice and you'll catch what you missed — the same lines, landing somewhere new.

About the Play…
Bark Park unfolds in two parts, both set in the same Central Park dog run. In Part One, someone has a problem with their new border collie — or is it the other way around? In Part Two, two dogs begin to wonder whether life has to be better than two daily trips to the dog run. Sure, fetch can be fun, and nothing beats having your food served on a tray — but what wild new world waits just on the other side of the fence?
